Tom Kim is a principal and consulting actuary with Milliman Life Technology Solutions (LTS). He is based in Toronto, Canada, and joined the firm in 2014.
Experience
Tom has over 30 years of actuarial consulting experience in the global life insurance field, having served clients in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. For the past 10 years, he has led Integrate® implementation projects, and recently much of his focus has been in the Bermuda insurance market.
Recent experience includes:
- Leading the design and methodology for the Integrate IFRS 17 solution, spearheading implementations with multiple clients in Europe, South America, and Bermuda
- Establishing and managing ongoing Integrate IFRS17 managed services relationships
- Helping to manage early establishment of the Integrate LDTI solution
- Managing client relationships for multiple Bermuda insurers
- Serving as part of the Milliman LTS management team
