William is an actuarial analyst in the Chicago casualty practice of Milliman. He has been at the firm since his internship during the summer of 2015.
Experience
William’s expertise in property and casualty insurance primarily involves loss reserving and forecasting for clients in specialty lines and workers’ compensation liability.
He also has a background in data science and software development, a skillset partly gained through his prior experience as a programmer before joining the firm. His experience includes the development and analysis of large databases for property and casualty insurance industry applications, providing technical support for projects, including pricing and predictive analytics. These projects include data querying, grouping and analysis utilizing languages such as SQL, R and JavaScript.
