Scott has extensive experience in the property and casualty insurance industries, working on projects across the United States, Latin America, and Europe. His client types include primary and reinsurance companies, state funds, governmental entities, self-insured groups and pools, and individual self-insured employers. Scott’s work experience includes:

• Reserve evaluations and variability analyses
• Actuarial opinions filed with the NAIC and state insurance departments
• Support for captive insurance company actuarial opinions filed with the Bermuda Monetary Authority and the VCIA
• Reserving, funding, and self-insured retention analyses for governmental entities, self-insured entities, and captive insurance companies
• Appraisals and due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions

• Financial projections for rate and dividend scenario testing

Prior to Milliman, Scott worked for CNA Insurance Companies, where he was responsible for the ratemaking of all commercial coverages, including professional liability, general liability, workers’ compensation, and property insurance for the dental, optometric, and other medical lines of business for all states.
